چکیده
Let P(z) be a polynomial of degree n with real or complex coefficients, In this paper we obtain a ring shaped region containing all the zeros of P( z), Our results include, as special cases, several known extensions of Enestrom-Kakeya theorem on the zeros of a polynomiaL We shall also obtain zero free regions for certain class of analytic functions.

Using Chebyshev polynomial’s zeros as point grid for numerical solution of nonlinear PDEs by differential quadrature- based radial basis functions
Radial Basis Functions (RBFs) have been found to be widely successful for the interpolation of scattered data over the last several decades. The numerical solution of nonlinear Partial Differential Equations (PDEs) plays a prominent role in numerical weather forecasting, and many other areas of physics, engineering, and biology. In this paper, Differential Quadrature (DQ) method- based RBFs are...

We consider the problem of computing all the zeros of an analytic function that lie in the interior of a Jordan curve, together with their respective multiplicities. Our approach uses modiied moments based on formal orthogonal polynomials. Numerical experiments indicate that it is far superior to classical approaches, which consider the usually ill-conditioned map from the Newton sums to the un...

Let$ P_{n}(x)= sum_{i=0}^{n} A_{i}x^{i}$ be a random algebraicpolynomial, where $A_{0},A_{1}, cdots $ is a sequence of independent random variables belong to the domain of attraction of the normal law. Thus $A_j$'s for $j=0,1cdots $ possesses the characteristic functions $exp {-frac{1}{2}t^{2}H_{j}(t)}$, where $H_j(t)$'s are complex slowlyvarying functions.Under the assumption that there exist ...

Let F := {fλ} be a family of holomorphic functions in a domain D ⊂ C depending holomorphically on λ ∈ U ⊂ Cn. We study the distribution of zeros of {fλ} in a subdomain R ⊂⊂ D whose boundary is a closed nonsingular analytic curve. As an application, we obtain several results about distributions of zeros of families of generalized exponential polynomials and displacement maps related to certain O...
